The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. Celebrated around the globe, the Winter Solstice represents reflection, rebirth, celebration and rituals. It's special. It's a beautiful time for refresh surrounding the change of seasons and is a very special time to learn about traditions and rituals around the planet, and infuse them into your own.
NATURE REMEMBERS WHAT WE HUMANS HAVE FORGOTTEN :
EVERY CYCLE MUST RETURN TO STILLNESS, SILENCE, THE DARK.
EVERY EXHALE REQUIRES AN INHALE.
EVERY OUTER ENDEAVOR TURNS BACK INWARD TO ITS ORIGINS, ITS CENTER AND BEGINS AGAIN.
FROM DEATH COMES NEW LIFE, AND FROM THE DARKEST NIGHT, THE NEW DAWN IS BORN.
I'm looking forward to incorporating crystals into my Winter Solstice rituals this year and I wanted to share why I'll be incorporating these specific stones.
1. SUPER SEVEN
The stone of personal ascension, Super Seven is a fusion of seven gemstones naturally occurring together : amethyst, quartz, smokey quartz, cacoxenite, rutile, goethite, lepidocrocite. It holds the properties of all 7 stones.
I'll be utilizing this during my rituals to set intentions of positivity, balance, guidance, inspiration, and calm yet active energy.
Known as a stone for awakening + manifesting, trolleite reminds me of a tropical ocean (so it aesthetically has my heart!).
I'll be utilizing this rare stone during my rituals to set intentions of awakening and manifesting, as well mental clarity.
A staple in most crystal collections, Amethyst is a protective stone that is often said to provide emotional healing energy.
I'll be utilizing Amethyst during my rituals to set intentions of courage + inner strength.
The happiness stone. Citrine symbolizes BRIGHT and joyful energy, which is precisely why I am incorporating this stone into the Winter Solstice.
I'll be utilizing Citrine during my rituals to set intentions of joy, intuition, prosperity and success.
ON THE SHORTEST DAY AND THE LONGEST NIGHT, KEEP YOUR INNER LIGHT SHINING BRIGHT.
5. BLACK TOURMALINE
The stone to neutralize negative energy - Black Tourmaline is a powerful tool in your intention practices to ward off destructive thoughts and energy.
I'll be utilizing Black Tourmaline during my rituals to set intentions of clarity, peace, grounding and protection of my personal energy.
The stone of transition. Lepidolite is a beautiful healing stone.
I'll be utilizing Lepidolite during my rituals to set intentions of healthy transition into the new season and year, and emotional healing.
The ULTIMATE cleansing tool. It's actually hard to imagine a ritual where I don't utilize selenite in some way, it is so versatile.
I'll be utilizing Selenite during my rituals to set intentions of calm, peace, connection, protection and clarity.
8. ROSE QUARTZ
The stone of universal love & friendship. This stone is so important in coming back to you and any self development.
I'll be utilizing Rose Quartz during my rituals to set intentions of forgiveness and self love.
HAPPY Winter Solstice. I hope that the transition into this season brings you great relief, joy, prosperity and light. From my family to yours, I wish you a safe, peaceful and joyous holiday season that brings incredible memories.
Thanks for reading and I hope that you find joy in incorporating some of these crystals into your Winter Solstice rituals! Stay warm!
I truly hope that this has been a resource for you, and that it sparks new ideas of habits, practices and rituals that you can turn to to ground when you feel pulled in different directions. I speak of grounding often in my Livestream Classes, on the MoonRise Channel and in my weekly free Sunday Self Care Journal. If you have any questions at all, you can Email Me or DM on Instagram. Have fun and patience with your grounding practices. It takes time but I promise that whenever you spend time on it, it truly makes a significant difference.
ps ... love these tips? I would LOVE it if you would pin this to come back to, or share with a friend!
